I was inspired to do this impromptu production after prowling around an abandoned house in my neighborhood. I discussed the idea of using the place for a horror film with my friend Ross McIntire and my brother Louis. The three of us decided on the "Bugman" concept based on a character in one of Louis' stories. The gimmick of the film is that it consists of one long take and improvised dialog. There was no editing involved other than adding effects overlays and Louis' scary music.
